Spank You On My Knee, Dress Every Whore Like A Lady, & Her Bacterial Slur were a trilogy. All those basic skeletons were recorded in Hollywood & then i would hop on a greyhound to complete them with my friend Levi John at his home studio in Las Vegas. remember the intro to Guns N Roses Welcome To The Jungle when Axl gets off the bus ??? THAT's the greyhound station in downtown Los Angeles. i have memories of homeless guys with black (from dirt) hospital masks pining on about how "they just got out of the hospital & could i give them [fill in the blank] ???" to which i would reply, "don't you remember me man ?? you told me the same story last week."
One of my favorite lyrics "how am i a faggot when you're running away" comes from Spank You On My Knee. i also remember being uncertain about what to sing in the section before the last chorus in Her Bacterial Slur which now starts with "we will train your personal companions". that came from a dog obedience school pamphlet in Las Vegas. i've been asked numerous times if Her Bacterial Slur is/was about V.D. or the clap or some other vulvanic plight & the honest answer is: NO. it never crossed my mind at the time but is infinitely amusing now.
i'm also pleased the lyrics to Dress Every Whore Like A Lady still ring SO true to this day ====> "it's not about being right come up with something other than the average american fuck. pink frilly sits in the middle of gravel holly hobbie's a slut".
Mink Mold is/was an outtake from the Fanci Pantie Parlor album & was recorded in 2000. Two-Ply Bind was recorded live (with later overdubs) in Chicago in 1999. i am trying to locate some of the other recordings from this time period. a group of masters was stolen around then & some of the material has surfaced online and/or has been emailed to me by complete strangers in a few cases. thanks again if you were one of those people & happen to be reading this.
there were a couple EPs released between this & Fanci Pantie Parlor but they are out of print. i don't even have copies of them. most of those tracks were released on the Unreleased & Rare Demos 1999-2007 collection.
